CHEE WEEKLY #4 - Sketchingsketchingsketching (Patreon)

I'm late. This week I mostly focused on sketching, practice, and starting a few new projects instead of finishing some pending art. I'm starting to get the hang of Procreate and am enjoying it quite a lot as a sort of sketch pad for future artwork. I'm not sure if I could finish work on their completely, as it lacks a lot of the features/complexity from Photoshop that I use all the time.

Sketchee

 First attempt at taking one of my existing quick 1~2min sketches and refining it for a little longer (30~mins). It's unfinishing and the lighting is inconsistent, but I was mostly focused on line weight and getting down a sketchy, hatched style of shading.

Precious yeen

This one I spent a little more time on, adding another layer for the shadows which I think looks pretty okay. Still trying to figure out my line weights and confidence but I like how this turned out :D

Other work

 Circled in red is other stuff I worked on this week which either you can see more of on Discord, or is something I can't really show progress of (like the kofi page). I'm currently looking at using Ko-fi in addition to Patreon as an alternative, as well as a potential shop for digital assets (and maybe physical ones in the future???).
