THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!!! I think this is the episode where Snips and Snails are introduced. At least, it's the first time they speak. At first I hated them but they grew on me in later episodes. Trixie is a pony that needs a good lesson learned.

I'm not sure if anyone has told you about the mane six (Twi and her friends) But they are all believed to be in their early 20's. In flashbacks later on we see them at different schools, and looking a lot younger than they do now. Which really drives home the point that for Twilight, the five friends here are literally all she has (Excluding Spike, blood related family and the princess) so her paranoia at losing them is intensified by 20+ years of what basically amounts to isolation which she was fine with until she actually made proper, life long friends and understood she was lonely before.

The funniest thing about this episode is that Trixie is just a stage magician. It's their job to play themselves up. But Trixie definitely overdoes it lmao, not to mention just having a mean personality and being rude to others even outside of the stage
