"I wonder how Steven feels because every time someone sees him, they immediately think about Rose and the legacy she's left behind." :) And sometimes the legacy that's left is heavy and full of secrets. That's what makes Steven different, he looked at the violence around him and chose differently. And this is why this is one of my favorite episodes. It hits really hard and doesn't really hold back. Bismuth is an amazing character, and though she literally just came out in this episode with no prior characterization, you get a feel of her person very quickly. She's just as zealous of her ideals as the Diamonds are, she just thinks she's in the right. Of course, shattering a Gem is a serious thing. We're about to learn more about that.
