I don't know if you were able to catch it but the mine that they are in is the one where Ila's Parents died. Blake eluded to it when at the main entrance. Also Yang is concerned/notices Blake looking at the SDC (schnee dust company) container because it was a reminder of Adam and the SDC brand on his eye

You hit the nail right on the head with Moral vs Just thing, its a big theme all volume long about the difference between doing what is RIGHT and the costs of that.

This is probably my favourite Ruby outfit :D

I adore the new outfits this season, ngl Blake's is a little silly but I do love the new hair!! Also the bmblb content in this episode made me scream the first time I watched it haha

It’s important to note that Marrow is a dog faunus, right? So not only is he able to freeze people by focusing and commanding them to “stay”, but his weapon is a boomerang…so he’s literally playing fetch with himself 😭😭😭

I JUST noticed with Blake's blade on her weapon. It's repaired with gold, it is almost literally Kintsukuroi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver lacquer. Understanding that the piece is more beautiful for having been broken.

I love comparing the landing strategy scene in this episode to first one back in Volume 1 when they were picking teammates. Especially Jaune's, who started out as a clueless guy at Beacon who didn't even know what a landing strategy was at first. But look at him now and how much he has grown since then 😭

Hi David, I just became a patron today and have been following your channel for 7 months and feel happy to support you and your content. Now with that said I just watched the latest youtube RWBY reaction (V6 chpt 12), and wanted to say this. I think that it's strange that Yang would claim that Adam was pretending but she doesn't actually know him, the only thing that she knows is that he hurt her and whatever blake has said about him, and same thing with Blake, she is presented to know think of him as "spite" in a diminishing tone and yet she knows about his scar, the SDC (Schnee Dust Company)brand on his face, proving that his isnt spite he is justifiably enraged, I personally think it was a missed opportunity to not let Weiss see his brand. But the point that I'm trying to say is that while I don't condone any of his abusive and stalker behavior everyone is quick to skip the darkness in the background of this character, so when blake abandoned him in the black trailer, she was running from the beast he became and forgot the person he was. He was never pretending. He did have to die though, he was doing to much and would not stop.

To be completely honest they had horrible designs this volume, it doesn’t suit their colour pallet anymore and it doesn’t make sense due to the temperature, weiss doesn’t even represent white anymore she’s blue, yang has a weird clothing gap on her leg and should have used a better tone for her outfit and Blake has no need for that many zips I seriously hope they fix this in the future because it’s just..no, tho I’m glad they do end up fixing the hair for weiss and Blake later on which not many people notice, I’m not trying to be negative but it’s pretty common sense to not wear a dress in a winter setting, the only character who still fits their colour pallet is ruby 😬😬

the ace-ops seem even more unbearable the 2nd time watching but it's kinda supposed to be like that and it's good writing to make me feel this way

I love how they linger on Qrow after Clover tells him his semblance. I think you can really see the cogs turning in his head like, "oh my god is this someone that I can work with without constant fear of putting them in danger just by existing". I think its a really huge moment for him.

Yeah, Weiss' outfit and hair are the only changes I liked for team RWBY. The rest? Meh.

Since I didn't see anyone else mention this about the new outfits...fun fact! In the V7 intro, you see each of the RWBY characters fly in the air in three stages. Each of those stages reveals their outfit, hair style, etc. for each batch of volumes (first stage: V1-V3; second stage: V4-V6; third stage: current volumes). :) Also, I would LOVE to comment on their decision to lie to Ironwood and how that compares to Ozpin's lies; but I'm going to wait until later in Volume's 7 and 8 after you've had a chance to see the consequences of these choices. Let's just say that I'm not a fan of how it's handled. :/

Quintessence Nevermore

Dementors (They are called Geist in RWBY). And you already saw one in Volume 4.

I'm late but this is for the moral Question of the Day: Is always being truthful:: moral. My answer is no. I had, emphasis on HAD, a friend that would never lie. Not for a job, not to get out of trouble, for no reason ever. She was CONSTANTLY throwing her friends under the bus and turning us in for the minorest crap. It was awful. Her "truth" hurt everyone around her. She was a walking nightmare. I swear if we were in a dictatorship she would turn us all in and watch us get killed just to save her "integrity" of never lieing. And to be honest because she would never lie, I could never be truthful with her ever about anything. It's one thing to never lie, if you plead the fifth and keep your mouth shut. But she believed "lies of omission" meaning if someone asked her a question and she didn't answer honestly... that was a lie too.
