I wonder how many locker shaped holes there are around beacon? 😂 or perhaps Glinda spends her evenings fixing them 🤔 Also I remember the cliffhanger at the end of this episode being brutal. With the eerie chiming of the clock over the waltz music as they panned across each character, it made for a super suspenseful ending.

I loved seeing how you reacted to this episode, I was really looking forward to it. Definitely one of my favourite episodes (do not fear, I have LOT of favourite episodes with plenty to come in the series haha) also totally agree, Cinder's bad but she does know how to be alluring haha!!

Across 8 seasons of RWBY, I still list this as one of my favorite episodes. Cinder gets to be a badass; Jaune gets to be a good man; Pyrrha gets to be happy. What's not to like? (Plus the espionage and even a dance break.) Loving the reactions, and looking forward to more.

One thing I noticed after going through the 7 volumes several times (to prepare for the arrival of volume 8) is that during this episode you can hear Cinder's lietmotif (before she enters the elevator and during his fight against Ruby), which are some note used in All Things Must Die (one of the first RWBY tracks you did on your channel). I love this consistency in the music of the show. And since she is basically an evil Cinderella, the episode inevitably ends on the twelfth stroke of midnight ^^.

Not sure why people like the old format so much. David is covering around 20% of the episode. It's like when my siblings used to jump in front of the TV to be annoying. But at least the video is not see-through now. That 50% opacity thing was even worse. If you look at other RWBY reacters like "Puns of Damage" or "MurderofBirds" there are ways to make both you and the show visible without problems. I know that sounded overly negative, so sorry about that. I am enjoying watching your reactions to both the music and the show! :)

okay on discord i said that season 3 maybe wouldn't hit you as hard as me. Upon finally watching this I realize no I was wrong. You are screwed sorry. Your only consolation is at least you don't have to wait half a goddamn year with just pain and anger at the writers and no idea if things will stay sadness forever.

Also wow I realized that when he talks to neptune i think it signifies that he has finally let go of weiss and is starting to focus on phyrra. It is progresses very slowly, but the option is there now and he's interested finally.

AS for cinder's semblance, it's not that well defined. But the rwby companion guide says it lets her superheat objects and reform their shape. So she can turn objects into glass and use that glass as a weapon. And she can alter her clothes (though she does have dust embedded into them. Thats what the gold swirleys on her dress are).
