Okay okay joke's over. BTW: The attached file contains the Rias card upfront instead of being buried underneath a mountain of folders. (Frustration free packaging. A little known benefit for being a patron. :P) The Monster at the End of This Book was a major inspiration.

Anyways, so yeah the initial joke wasn't much when it first started out: The original idea was to pretend that the card was a ransomware virus or a cryptominer, which would then get blocked by some made up anti-virus LLC. The post would have been begging you to not download the card, rattlin' off all the possible dangers it would cause to your computer. The punchline would be that unlike the other April Fools', the card would be 100% legit.

No Evillak, no Dire, just a normal card. I decided against that for the following reasons:

1: The punchline is just "Haha I fool you into checking to make sure the card is safe to use."

2: I feel like some people would actually take it seriously and ask either me or other folks elsewhere about how to get rid of the virus embedded in the image. I know what you're thinking "There's no way people would believe that!" Yeah I thought that too, til' I saw a couple of posts here n' there where people thought KK cards had viruses in them.

Why they believe that who can say. Maybe they thought that's what all the hullaboo was about Discord stripping the metadata (AKA the shit needed to get cards to work.) or maybe they extrapolated that the Flashbangz KK pack having a cryptominer to all Koikatu content.

With a shitty punchline and the possibility of causing a panic, suffice to say the joke needed a little more work. In all honesty had I more time I would have just tossed it outright and replace it with a different switch-a-roo gag. Oh well, maybe next year.

Is the joke funny now? No, but hey at least people won't think it's a legitimate computer virus. It's still incredibly undercooked, but like man it's April Fools: I gotta do something, hiatus be damned!

And speaking of undercooked! Man this is the laziest thing I've put out since Flannery. Sure it was made in MS Paint, but at least I made those textures. I didn't make a single piece of clothing. All of what y'see was ripped off by far more competent people. Rias is rocking default eye and iris like your average "Make a quick buck" cookie cutter Koikatu model. Why do you think I posted this under the pretense of a joke?

There is some groundwork laid out for a better Rias tho, like that alt hair for her casual outfit I half assed. Or the more under the hood shit like adjusting the dynamic bones for the front of her bangs so that they don't go too crazy in motion. Amongst other things that are yet to be determined, which is where y'all come in: I have not seen the show.

The sheer extent of my knowledge of it comes from my friend, who would not shut up about it. Him acting out scenes in public was bad enough, then he starts dropping "ara ara" in conversations. Motherfucker looks at me as if I was the weird one for going all "WTF". I wonder if he still does that. "It means 'Oh dear' in Japanese." yeah sure ok buddy I'm sure everyone will just accept that at face value. He says it in the exact same tone too what the hell. Fuckin' weeb.

QUESTIONS FOR DXD EXPERTS (Casuals Accepted):

1. Is the hair color right? The default texture looks way too bright. I know the remake/whatever Season 4 is brightens her hair color up, but shit it's not THAT pink. Still, did I make her hair too dark?

2. Fuck the new Rias, the old style was better. I don't care if it's "truer to the source" Rias Classic > New Rias any day of the week. This is not a question, it's fact.

3. What kind of alts do ya want? I know there's a gacha game of this which is where I pulled that ponytail design from. So that's a shoe-in but attached to a different outfit. Thinking of that kimono alt, whaddoya say? The office lady look is also a solid choice so I'm going with that.

I have no idea what the deal with her Sleeping Over outfit is, I just ripped it from an Akeno card. Figured it was something from the show so I threw it in there. I'm more than willing to toss it out in exchange for literally anything but a bikini/swimsuit/ribbons alt.

Looking for actual clothes here, not two strips of cloth. Her winter get up is quite charming so I'd be okay with that. Yes I'm referring to that bit crunched outfit. (Slide 2) (Didn't Camilla wear something similar in the manga?)

4: What's the tone of Rias? Does she lean towards nicer, meaning I should make her look rounder, therefore cuter, or evil so make her features more angular?

I know she's the MC, but she can look downright evil at times. (S3) (Which is a plus in my book. I love the kind of woman that will actually just kill me.) From what little I gathered from the wiki, she asks the self insert MC to be her pawn, which if you have never heard of chess before, things usually don't turn out well for those guys.

Not to say she doesn't have a cute side or anything...or I'm just cherrypicking from an expression sheet and she has ZERO gap moe. (S4) Right now, I'd say current Rias is operating under a 70% Evil/Sexy, 30% Nice/Cute ratio. Is that right, or should it be adjusted?

QUESTIONS Y'ALL MIGHT HAVE:

"What's with the other characters (S5)/is that mod file legit or did you seriously replace all of my BGM with unfitting music again."

I'm just posting minor patches to Iowa, Alma, and Mio. Iowa and Alma now have new side and back hair thanks to the new COM3D2 hair mod. An update to Mio's hair textures dropped recently and the textures are of a higher quality compared to the old ones. The new mods also come with her latest gothic lolita outfit but like, I'm too lazy to work on that. I guess I'll come around to it but like myeehhhhh it's just not for me y'know?

That should answer the second question well enough. Seriously, if I've modified them to mess with people, why didn't I just make that the April Fool's joke? Would've gotten a hella lot more people that way y'know?

Oh, and I threw in their bunny suit costumes in there as separate clothing in the Bonus Goodies folder. Yeah sure you could do it at home real easy but like ayy, this is more convenient eh?

Anywho, that's all from me. The hiatus is still on, this is just me lettin' y'all know I'm still up n' about. I'm all too familiar with creators who go "Ey guys I'm going on hiatus but ha ha hey don't cha worry it's only temporary!"

P.S: I didn't make that part up about Sadako AKA the ghost from Grudge/Ring/Dead By Daylight turning into a computer virus. That's legitimately the plot of the third book I'm not kidding go look it up. Fucking cyberghosts!

P.P.S:  Holy shit  new April Fool's Idea: Lock the card behind a password that can only be found by going through a mini Choose Your Own Adventure. It'll be a five letters n' numbers password. At the end of each "ending" you get one character, but you don't know the order of them so you hav- ok ok put the pitchfork down.

Unironically, some people require you to solve riddles to unlock cards n' mods. This is for every day of the year BTW, not just one. Oh and you have to answer in Kanji too, if it wasn't hard enough as is.
