While I won't go on to exclusively only make vtubers, thanks to these results my trepidation over making them has certainly decreased as it's what more than half of y'all want. So, then who's up next?  The obvious answer is Kronii, it's the name of the damn poll after all but as you can tell from the tone alone, I've got someone else in mind. This poll is for when I do get  around to her, ETA: Yes.

There is no "All" option unless you're willing to fork over a bajillion dollars. These individually will take some time to complete, not even accounting for my spotty production rate. So pick one and only one for which outfit you want to see in Kronii MK.II!  (PS: Kronii has seen some hotfixes since the initial Der Vault post. It's got fixes n' adjustments and something a little extra on top of it. Go check it out if you haven't!)

Okay But Why Tho, Complications, and Other Comments:

So to cut down rambling in the main post, I'm putting them here.

So, why Kronii all of a sudden when I said I was going to make something else? Well,  I still am, but an update to Kronii has always been on the backburner. That said, I was at bit of a loss on as to how. Sure, making a new outfit is a no brainer, but to be quite honest, I wasn't feeling all too inspired by the choices.

The Kimono

Really complicated. Yeah I bet I could do it, and I'm gonna have to do it for someone else so may as well get some practice in right? But like, I'm gonna be real with ye and say as much as I like the design, it's not very sexy. Yes it's quite ornate and fancy but outside of that there's not much going on that appealed to me. The hair's alright, simple enough that even if Kimono loses I'd be down to thrown in the hair for free anyways.

I bet someone could reappropriate it to use for some other context. It's a nice do what more can I say?

Anywho, canon wise, this is all I had to work with. Now as for fanon...

The Suit

Ok while I am going to put in some detail into it, there's no fucking way I'd be able to get it to even look CLOSE to Quasarcake's level of detail. Like goddamn. Plus the concept art is easier to wrap my head around so that's what I'd be using for the main reference. I'd use the other art to give her hair some extra flair and to do (very minor in comparison) detail work. The suit was baller enough that I'd figure it was going to be her next costume so I figured "Eh I'll sit on it, wait until the official design is out."

Turns out her next costume is not, in fact, the suit, but rather something else and honestly, what inspired this entire post.

The Casual Outfit

As you can see, the reference I've uploaded for the Casual Outfit is not a .jpeg, but rather a webm. Well why is that?

Because the still image of it is uh, not great.

Okay it looks stupid I'm just gonna say it. The bangs parallel to each other seriously compresses her face. Like when I first saw it posted, I was like "No way that's real that's gotta be a fucking edit right." It's not, it's just a bad frame...kinda. The glasses seriously help to offset how squished the face looks even as a still image.

Like there's nothing wrong with the face itself, it's still the same ol' Kronii. It's just those two strands of hair making it look off. Well, it's my working theory anyways. I feel like if you move those two strands further apart it would look real nice.

Oh I s'pose the proportions are kind of wack too but like 1: In h-word/fanart in general let's be real, proportions are more of what you'd call "guidelines" than hard set rules. 2: I'm the last person to make a stink about proportions anyways.

She looks like Blue Medusa and I'm all for it. Like with Kimono Kronii, if the Casual Outfit loses I'm still making the hair because finally: Canon Hair Down Alt.

If I had to make a thesis statement as to why I want to make each outfit it would be thus:

Kimono because I could use the practice for another character, the hair with the flowers n' shit looks really nice, and just take a look at  THIS.

Suit cause it looks fucking cool, plus I want to see if I can recycle a jacket I've got hanging around for it.

Casual because I want to test my theory to see if I'm right about the face looking off solely due to those two strands. Also because it's really fucking cute: Exhibit A It CAN work dammit! Just needs a lil' adjustin' s'all!

So yeah, I've laid down my reasons, now I look forward to all of y'alls.
