never read the Ahsoka novel, but the new disney CEO got himself in a kerfuffle when he demanded not to mention "gay" in anything and everyone in Disney protested against that.

Given how good these were I kind of want to see the opposite of this now with a Tales of the Sith. Some stuff focused on Palpatine and Plagueis. Or maybe Kylo Ren and Snoke

Awesome series... Loved it!... Give us MORE!... Immediately!... LOL Agree with Bendu in that I would like to see a Ventress arc, or maybe, if they plan on getting more expansive, and going outside the base canon, a Mara Jade arc, maybe? Also, Ashla was the original name George Lucas had picked for Anakin's Padawan before they decided to change it to Ahsoka...

Loved this mini series, but it's left me craving more (and I know I shouldn't). There are so many stories that could be explored in this format. One that I'd love to see would be the Grand Inquisitors life as a jedi, and how he betrayed his fellow temple guards during Order 66. Or maybe a post-66 Quinlan Vos storyline!

I’d love to see short animated episodes ie. Vader breaching echo base on Hoth,or scenes filling in current cinema.

Until they show us Ahsoka creating her new lightsabers from an inquisitor saber, I'm pretty upset they just decided to straight up retcon the Ahsoka novel. Honestly, it would not have been hard to do like a 20-30 minute animation covering the whole book. It's just sad to see them continuously change their OWN canon. Idk. I liked the episode as much as the other Ahsoka episodes but I just take a bit of issue with the fact that they're being inconsistent and overwriting stuff.

I'm not too upset because the episode was close enough to the novel. There's no way I'd expect them to cover the entire thing in a single episode, nor would they. Just like you said, the most disappointing thing is no Kaeden. Her and Miara were pivotal to Ahsoka's story and I don't understand why they were replaced with 2 generic farmers. I understand people saying it's not a retcon because stories are allowed to exist in different mediums, as everyone will have a different version of a story. But between this and Kanan The Last Padawan, I'm just disappointed in Lucasfilm. They promised us a cohesive and connected canon when Disney made the purchase and so far they haven't lived up to that promise. I'm really worried for the Ahsoka series because I will honestly cry if Rebels gets retconned.

i dont think im gonna cry if rebels gets retconned because its fucking rebels. their platform on disneyXD at the time was ass. horrible regulations and time constraints. now that they have more control im fine with them going over things. its fucking dave filoni george lucas literally talks to him constantly, its their story.

Ventress has such a tragic story to tell, I would love to see Dark Disciple play out in animation but I'm also SO concerned about how they'd change it

Yeah there are very legitimate reasons to be disappointed. Samurai makes a solid point though about the conditions under which they were making the previous shows, they are in a position to go back and change things and that is somewhat on brand for George Lucas too, thinking about the special editions etc
