The way I understand it, they have four directors doing three consecutive episodes each, and the corresponding set of episodes have been treated as separate arcs or mini-movies, each with their own (partial) conclusion. Similarly to what we saw happen in episodes 1 to 3.

I don't expect any crossovers, but given that this show is happening at the same time as Rebels (5 BBY), what do you think are the odds that we hear at least a throwaway mention of trouble on Lothal in one of those ISB meetings?... Plus, Mon Mothma has to be rescued by the Ghost crew once se eventually decides to defect... 🤔
