ah damn, video processing. I was too quick on the draw I guess XD

This is the type of Vader we need to see more of. Seeing him being nothing short of diabolical really stamps home why everyone in the original trilogy thought Luke was utterly mad for thinking there was good in him or that he could reach him on any level. Also not going to lie hearing Leia ask Obi-Wan if he was her father hit me hard

re: Vos, the more Jedi that are running around it just makes Yoda's words to Luke that he's the last jedi mean less. We already have an Ezra exception and an Ahsoka exception, so if Vos is running around during the OT we'd need an exception for him too

According to Nerdist, two of the names on the wall are Valin Halcyon and Roganda Ismaren

Seriously! Leia's question was heartbreaking, both for us and for Obi-Wan. Vader is absolutely terrifying here

So, I think “somehow Grand Inquisitor survived” 🙄 Seriously though, I think Vader & Obi-Wan are gonna have this knock down, drag out battle, and Vader will win. Then from (seemingly) out of nowhere, Reva comes in with the babyface turn and starts fighting Vader & defending Obi-Wan. Either her or Obi strike Vader across the head, which is where he gets his scar that we see when he dies. Meanwhile, GI then has his revenge and kills Reva, thusly solidifying himself & Sixth Brother for Rebels

it’s subtle, but for me i feel reva’s pain seeing the safe house and knowing that other jedi were saved, and she was “abandoned” (something she called out in part 1)

I love how terrifying and dangerous they made Vader in this episode. Felt even more brutal than Rogue One and felt just like we've seen in the comics. Seeing the fear from the public and even the Inquisitors when Vader went full savage mode trying to draw Kenobi out. It makes even more sense now that Obi-Wan doesn't believe that Anakin can be redeemed in Episode 6.

This was such a great reaction thank you Kyle! <3 This series is soooo amazing and hype! :)

What if Quinlan Vos helps Obi-Wan? Like what if Kenobi gets captured and is taken back to Vader's castle or fortress inquisitorius to be tortured even more and Quinlan comes in and sacrifices himself to save Obi-Wan? Just a crazy theory I have, probably won't happen but imagine. Wouldn't be the first time a jedi infiltrated that fortress place ;)

I've just thought of a way that could really explain how Reva knows that Vader is Anakin. I highly suspect that in the flashback to Order 66 in Episode 1 she was one of the younglings present in thay group. Since she was at the Jedi Temple, she could've witnessed Anakin, now Vader, slaughtering the other jedi and younglings. And Anakin was famous during the Clone Wars since he become known as: The Hero with No Fear to the general public and there would probably be a lot of younglings and padawans that be inspired to be like Anakin; brave, fearless, powerful.

Man— loved the episode. Just wish Obi brining out his lightsaber for the first time was shot in a better way. Very anticlimactic giving how anxious everyone has been waiting for that very specific scene.

I felt like there was this element of psychological torture behind Vader letting Obi-wan go at the end. (He force-dragged him through the fire once, I'm pretty sure he could have done it again after Tala reignited the flames). Vader was toying with Obi-wan the whole time, patiently stalking him and fighting him with slow deliberate moves (one-handed no less!). He wants Obi-wan to suffer as long as possible, he's not going to make this easy or quick. Let him think he got away, while dealing with the physical pain and the terror of being found again. Plus, I get the sense that he was almost disappointed with Obi-wan's weakness. Vader's been waiting for this fight for ten years, and it didn't quite give him the satisfaction he was looking for yet, so he's just taking his time and playing with him like a cat with a mouse.

It's subtle but brilliant, just a flash of extreme pain on her face, and then she shifts it to anger. Moses is just nailing it

KyleKatarnChannel

It was so harrowing! And yes I agree Vader is attacking Obi Wan mentally just as much if not more so than the fire did damage

KyleKatarnChannel

Yeah it was a bit less epic than I expected but it reminded me of his words in ANH "always for knowledge and defense, never for attack."
