tiny update:

ive been writing alot of their species and time has passed lol.

my long biological+ kink rant, this is only the beginning of what i scrounged from my wormbrains

 they have a freaky relationship with urine. cus i decided that this kink will get worse. i wrote that they dont have an ink sac, so they use the bladder they are born with. it is  rather vestigial though, since they largely expel waste through their specialized digestive tract. im going with the theme of a more 'simpler' body plan. in theory, though they have many complicated facets of their own biology to make things work. 

i wrote that the concentration level is low, with a majority of non water compounds being a host of volatile aromatics and pheromones. these aromatics have a use in the cosmetic and perfume industry, due to it actually having a mix of musky and floral notes. it also is used in medicines for vitality and fertility. nautiloid have a whole

host of speculation on their body and byproducts. their lack of aging, and long lifespan makes for a large market in the anti-aging and cosmetics industry. their eggs and urine are the main components to these products. the eggs having a host of growth and stimulants, and the other having, pheromones, and sexual stimulants. the next thing i wrote is that nautiloids have a massive sense of smell, which makes the pheromones and urine connection possible, with these concentrates being enough to be detected. they also are strongly tied to reproduction capabilities and success.  you know how like a strangely large amount of animals use pee for like, aloooot of things in behavioral and social acts? its like that here. the color, cus im weird about it, ranges. it can range depending on the mix or aromatics and the iron and copper levels. from blue, green to yellows, orange reds colors. though they cant see them, the color is just an after affect from what it really does, the scent. it also help indicate a few things like, ovulation and if male or female. the deeper the color the higher it is related to sexual activity. when its non sexual, it is usually a colorless liquid. though this also doesn't happen, as the only way a nautiloid to do so non-sexually, is to dispel extreme excess of water salt concentrates, hence the colorlessness. its like once or twice a year at most, since their digestive track does most of the job anyways. also male nautiloud urine is like, nutritious. have that for a factoid. though seriously, its to boost fertilization and  growth of the eggs, which of course is mixed with semen. its hard to get the eggs started in gestation, so the nautiloid body does everything they can to make it a 100% success. 

like i said, a bit vestigial in that department. its like a solely sex related/adjacent organ. that ends my long rant over a non traditional watersports kink.
