honestly what name should this lil warrior be? something aquatic/coastal related would be funny. 

im thinking the geographical variety is mainly tropical with many sub-types like in the geography of India. These tropical areas are perfect for lush life and have great resources, like rocks, metals, dyes from plants, animal variety, and habitable zones almost everywher. It also still give way for harsher climates such as arid and dry arid regions. these (tropics) zones best placed from near to above equator which has strong distribution of heat. By going further up, you can achieve arid regions, especially considering how wind and heat cycles shift through land and water. 

imps have quite a large area to work with (currently redesigning their geography to something bigger, so that in its own way, it is a continent itself.) researching biomes and how big their continent needs to be to host all that, made me rethink the specifics of their location. since its so big that their is 3 groups of imps, and likely many subgroups in it, would require not infinite land, but large enough that it can be its own, secluded from other continents. 

their home is far or hard to access from the outside in, which makes their interaction with other species and races (like humans, elves, goblins, etc)  hard. 

i can probably make a mythos about the rare encounters of the other races in this world. like ancient texts, oral histories, and others.
