I totally get it. I don't want to waste everyone's money that supports us. I am just having a human week to decide what I am going to do. I post only once a week anyway... I am just trying not to be irrational. If I go with my feelings RIGHT NOW, I would just shut the site down. I am pretty good at plenty of other things in the world. I am just asking myself if its worth it anymore.

You are free to have your own opinion. However I do think its funny when people who don't do what I do as a business think they know what's best for a business that I have grown, carefully for 8 years. When I say It hurts the site its not some statement I make based on "FEELING" its based on DATA and NUMBERS. I've seen it each time. There is no guess work. When there is a leak of stuff,I instantly see the sign ups drop. And its not because of cancelled comics. I didn't do that right away. This happened to the site 4 times before I started doing that. The threat of my cancelling was the ONLY thing that incentivized people not to share and repost. We don't need word of mouth. Almost everyone that is into this fetish in the market knows about this site. 50% of people want to support and be a good person, but if a person change our works for free without paying thats what Half of the people do.

I am sorry if I am coming off like a dick. This stuff just really irks me as I see what this leak means for our site in real time consequence. Because I've learned from the previous times this has happened. I have already started to have conversations with my artists about slowing down production on things we were working on for Future comics. I think I am going to look at the page count and finish up the ones that have been going for a while.

Thank you for the kind words. I use the DMCA takedowns all the time. Imagefap, rule34 and Ehentai take things down all the time when I file a complaint with them but lots of sites are really tricky and don't actually respond to the DMCA notices.

We need 400 across all tiers to make a profit. about this time of the month we usually have about 430 but the leaks are recent and from my experience after a leak the next month will land us about 230 patrons. If anyone here wants to watch it with me, watch the patron member numbers at the top of next month.

Have you ever thought about using a site like gum road to sell comics I feel like some people like me only subscribe to see certain comics and if you put your finished comics up to be purchased at a decent price you would have less leaks.

I used to have a gumroad. They won't host our comix anymore. And it actually make pirating even worse. If you look at the Lustomic model, They only launch comic a week and it doesn't make it nearly a week without being leaked. We've been fortunate as in that we haven't had a leak since May.
