[What's New] A Tier is no longer available soon. (Patreon)

We regret to inform you that A Tier membership will end on September 30, 2022 (JST). We plan to continue with one membership level in the future. As a result of this termination, new A Tier memberships have been suspended as of today. In addition, the name of "B Tier" will be changed to "SUGOI Supporter".

*SUGOI : In English, “sugoi" means, amazing, wonderful, great, excellent, superb, fabulous or the like.

The reasons for termination are "the percentage of A Tier supporters is less than 5%", "the amount of A Tier content is even lower due to infrequent updates", "review of A Tier content", and "consolidation of submitted post".

If the frequency of updates were to increase in the future, the problem would not go away. We feel that this is also a problem because the content is only high-resolution illustrations. For example, nowadays, there are tools that use AI to create high-resolution images, and it is not uncommon for recent creators to publish their works in high-resolution format, so I feel that the appeal of this membership level is being further reduced.

"Consolidation of submitted post" is a Patreon-only issue, as Fantia allows both A Tier and B Tier content to be attached to a single submission, while Patreon's system does not. However, in Patreon, this is not possible due to the system, so we had to post two separate post. Therefore, as mentioned above, we wanted to organize the two submissions once in terms of support ratio and update frequency.

We also thought about moving other contents such as PSD file distribution to A Tier, but this also did not seem like a good idea since we could not publish too many of them due to the update frequency. Therefore, there are currently no plans to open new higher or lower memberships level in the future.

We will continue to post original-resolutions pics in B Tier as in the past, but we will not reopen a separate membership for original-resolution pics only, as we have done in A Tier.
