They had their body removed and fitted into cylinder life units that can be plugged into different mechas for work, depending on the situation. They can also work as driver/pilot for trains or other transportation systems.
Hopefully, they also get some sort of small wheeled bases they can control and so they can move around when plugged into them.
They also have back handles so people can easily carry them around, and it can be used to rest their heads when they sleep.

Being plug girls don't stop them being women, and they did got husbands.

They've been knowing each other for a long time so they often hang out together at work and at home.
