Hello, lovely!

Let's sew the Aurora Bodice together! In this video tutorial, you'll learn how to sew an Aurora Top with peplum and corseted overlay, and the skills in the video will translate to all versions of the pattern.

You'll learn how to:

  • Fully line your Aurora Bodice
  • Set in a lapped zipper
  • Create a self-lined peplum
  • Add an adorable puff sleeve with sleeve band
  • Sew the corset overlay with spiral steel boning and button loop trim for the lacings

Hope you love this video & find it helpful! Don't forget to download this pattern and instructions in the separate Aurora Bodice post.

xoxo,
Gertie

Question: can I use these puff sleeves on the night and day dress?

Question: What if we just want to make an Auaroa dress without the overlay? I want to wear it over an existing/Separate top. Can it be done?
