Thorfinn has to be in the conversation for anime/manga's best written character.

This episode felt so much like a season finale. Can only hope Thorfinn gets see to his family in the last episode, that would be literally the perfect end.

P.s Don't know why i said timeskip when i seen olmar at the end, thought he looked older, brainfart im aware lol

This episode felt like the finale to the entire series, but trust me... Peakland's story only gets better from here. I transitioned into the manga after episode 21 of Season 2, and my enjoyment of the series never diminished. Hopefully Season 3 comes in 2025 or 2026. If you ever decide to read the manga, I assure you, you won't regret it either. Both Anime and Manga are amazing.

Why did you delete your comment? you could've just edited it lmao. If you got dyslexia then it's all good. We won't poke fun at you

All these young anime girls are living rent free in your head. Is there something you want to tell us? 👮

KingStation314

I don't get why people stop/dropped Peak Saga this season I think they don't know anything called character development they just wanted war and fight scenes all the time

Wild

the fbi wants to know your location 👮‍♀️

Funny thing is, there are some ppl who prefer Thorfinn to be a mindless killing machine from S1 because he was more "Badass". Nothing is badass about killing innocent families for your own selfish grudge. I feel sorry for all those people who dropped season 2 because there wasn't enough action lol

ANUKO

I think this is where we part ways Khan. I just HAVE to read the manga from after this season

I don't see what is difficult to understand. S1 was action packed they built a lot of the audience on it, not surprising at all that a lot of that fanbase didn't enjoy s2. Plenty of anime still have character development whilst having action. Change a menu at a restaurant and you will to lose a chunk of your locals! On that note though I kind of find everyone talking about Thorfinns character development strange. I don't really see it as character development. His whole reason for fighting was because of Thorrs death and to be able to fight Askeladd he had to to prove himself in battle. He still cared for people during that time as we seen when the lady and her child took him in during S1 but at the time his sole purpose was to fight and kill Askeladd fairly in a duel, when Askeladd died he lost that. This season shows the aftermath, I wouldn't call it development because the scenario is totally different. Sure hes all about peace now but what if someone he loved as much as his dad dies in a similar way? (don't even try compare Thorr to Arnheid) If hes still all about peace then I would call it is character growth. I highly doubt that he will stay the way he is currently for the rest of the series, warrior Thorfinn will return.

Imo this and the prologue are Vinland's peak. It's still very good after this though, but just not AS good, respectfully.

Khan this episode made me tear up so many times. What hit me the hardest was Pater’s convo at Arnheid’s grave. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing/hearing and I was starting to panic bc I thought it was the finale. I am not ready for next week at all.

John Yoo

That's fair. Either way though, the story remains to be peak. I enjoyed the stuff after the farmland arc a lot. I'm hoping khan reads the manga because I know he'll love it for sure.

Busta Riggz

No khan I honestly thought it was a timeskip aswell when I saw olmar hair loose dw🤣

Zongo

vinland anime is worth the wait.

Nafea

I hope you increase the episode volume to your mic audio ratio cuz sometimes it’s block the sound

LinkedHero

I was looking forward to the grave scene to get animated, my favorite moment in the arc

This is probably the best goal any main character could have. I can't think of an mc with a better dream.

Thorfinn has been my #1 character in anime/manga for the past 2 years, ever since I caught up to the most recent manga chapter of that time. He is just a masterclass of perfect writing. Yukimura is a genius for writing such compelling, deep characters
