Commission: The Hollywood Buzz (Patreon)

Here's a little piece I finished recently for a cinephile patron. It takes place in an alternate reality where movie theaters come standard-equipped with mind-control machinery, all unbeknownst to half of the viewing public. (I expect you can guess which half.) I'm occasionally tempted to delve more into this kind of thing, borrowing from fiction or from fame, but I think somewhere along the line some kind of baseless prejudice against fan fiction as a genre got hammered into me, so I try to stick to my own stuff except as directed.
