Update News: VR and Timeline Editors (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

Some of you may have already seen the video I've uploaded to the YouTube channel earlier this week, but in case you didn't, here it is again! VR playback didn't get any votes on the recent poll but I wanted to at least lay the groundwork for it. There's a button on the interface you can use to enable or disable the VR view on the fly, but of course you can't do much other than scene playback. I'd like to add full scene editing capabilities in VR at some point, but that'll be for much further down the line, this is all I wanted to get done on that for now.

Other than that I've mostly been busy with some bug-fixes and the interface. The timeline editors are coming along nicely:

Sadly I can't show off the clip or motion editors at the moment, since I'm in the middle of some changes to the GUI library which I didn't manage to complete in time. I should be able to release another update to the preview version next week though!

I also want to publish the first public version soon, some time around Christmas. There most likely won't be any editing capabilities included yet, but you'll be able to use all of the features I've shown off so far (including Cycles and VR). I'm notoriously bad with ETAs, but I'll try my best to get that done by the end of the month :).
