Progress Report (August 9th 2018) (Patreon)

C:I - Again, nothing to report here!  As much as I would like to work on it, I have been working VERY hard to get as much art done for Factions as I can!

Factions - With the poll having ended, I have tried to get all the art ready for our proof of concept demo.  Blank is working hard, and I am really hoping he can get Lilin, Cereborg, and Infectulon finished- and the last day Shadowed tied with Infectulon, so I have tried to get that ready as well.  When the time comes if Blank cannot fit them all into the demo by the end of August, I will run a poll asking if you want us to release what we have, or at least get three if not for basic ones in to give you an idea of the game play and Faction choices.

Attached, you will notice one of the transformation scenes.  This is when one of the two combatants was Chieko and one was Dionyza.  In other words, if one had chosen to play as Cereborgs, and was playing as Chieko, and they lost the fight against Dionyza, the succubus uses the power of her ring she created (please see OSAS: Noir Nights and The Anax: CotCO for the story about how she got it), Lilith's Love as she calls it, she transformed Chieko into a Succukiss minion (these are a type of succubus minion that use kissing to drain life and corrupt).

As you can see from this early release picture, I have done my best to create professional, sexy art, using my Chieko model and creating more custom textures and such.  Dionyza's outfit took me forever, as each gem had to be textured with Iray shaders to make them appear as realistic gems with the lighting, and-- never mind, I shan't bore you with all the boring details!  People complained that I only wrote tales and did not make "games" so games are what they shall get!

It is going to take an enormous number of renders to do the art for the entire game.  I mean just huge.  The demo is very watered down, but as you can see here, will still be professional for just a 'proof of concept'.  So C:I fans, know that I will definitely be completing all my novels as promised!  But, just so you are aware, I am focusing on Factions in the hopes it will bump up my patronage!  Living on 1k a month is pretty difficult lol  Anyway, so rest assured the Chapter 3's will be coming as soon as I can get to them, and in the meantime, you will have a new game to keep you busy!

General News - I am literally sitting at the computer rendering and making new models for Factions from the time I wake up till I sleep.  In fact, my ribs are aching rather annoyingly from sitting in my desk chair all day, but I really want this demo to shine.  Also, WoW's new expansion comes out next week.  I had originally hoped to take a week off and play it, but I shan't be able to since I want to get these art assets done for Factions and try to get Chap 3 out as fast as possible so my income does not drop!  (I don't want you investors to think I am lazy or slacking/not earning my keep!)  That's about it!  Now, back to the art!
