Hello, we sadly had to stop our daily free model promotion because of reasons explained in this post:

https://www.patreon.com/posts/end-of-daily-88620284

However, one of our Patrons suggested that instead of giving 1 model for free every day, we could give 7 models for free a week. This way people would have an entire week to download the free models. The amount of free models would not change too.

You would get weekly notifications instead of daily ones this way. I know some of you enjoyed the surprise factor of the daily emails. So the option to continue the daily promotion is still there to vote for.

We didn't include a monthly option, since that would be just another throwback set of mixed models, which is not the goal of this promotion.

The poll will be active until the 21st September (3 weeks). We will realize the results of this poll after that.

Also thank you for all the feedback you gave in the last post. We want everyone to feel included in the promotions we make. I think giving you guys the choice on how to proceed with this is the right way to go.

We also included the option to stop the promotion altogether for anyone who is really against it.

You guys are truly top-tier and so worth the price. Ignore the grumpsters if you are able. Any option is fine w/me, it is the throwback sets I'm missing that I'll be patiently waiting for. Free gifts are free gifts -- thank you for whatever you choose. If I may mention, my favorites models are always traditional fantasy characters. The more "normal" the better. One can never have too much variety of high-quality adventurers, fighters, wizards, bandits, soldiers, commoners, etc., with a wide variety of weapons and armor to fit every occasion -- I'm so happy that there are at least a few like this each month if not more. Or the great beasts you make. Dragons (so good!), animals of all sizes, etc. Give me a dozen humans or common monsters for every adorable animal-person or steampunk/sci-fi/modern thing-a-ma-jig please! Regardless, I absolutely love your work -- you guys are the best out there and I appreciate how every month there are at least a few pieces I can't wait to print for our home campaign. I also really love your large pieces: the buildings, ships, and terrain or scatter sets are all really neat.

Thank you for your feedback! We play tabletop games too and we always try to include some models that can be used in many scenarios. I can't wait to show the first set we are making for October. The theme of that set will be useful in many games for sure. 😃

I honestly think the 7 per week option would solve all the problems with the promotion! Might sound a bit privileged but I have your entire collection so the minis are not something I'm looking forward to perse and a daily one felt a bit spammy as I get notified for everything. The weekly one also leaves people with more time to download them if they want, so they wont miss out on the cool stuff the promotion offers!

Yes it is definitely more convenient to download and solves many of the issues with the promotion people mentioned. I am glad someone suggested it to me. 😃

I think it's a little rude and ungrateful if people are getting angry over FREE content. You put out such incredible content and offering freebies is a bonus!

To be honest, the daily model was a bit overwhelming for me. I realized I likely had most of them, but it was too much of a hassle for me to try and get to download it every single day, and with a vacation I was on and not being able to bring my computer, I couldn't access them for several days so I kind of gave up on it. Personally, the 7 every 7 days sounds like a much better option so I don't feel like I'm "missing" anything. It's free so how can I complain? But feeling like missing something does kind of suck, so hopefully this option helps! Thank you guys for being so generous in the first place.

Personally, as a caregiver for disabled family, I have to split my sleep schedule and wake up in the early morning hours. It can be rough some days, but your daily freebies were a delightful treat at 2am where I'm at. I miss the daily promo already, but I do think a weekly schedule will be better for your business. You guys do such great work, and clearly care about your supporrers, keep up the positive vibes!

I can understand that some would have an issue with giving something away that they have previously paid for, but I don't think that was the intent. I did enjoy the daily "what is it today", but then also was annoyed the days I missed.I get that some have left, but hopefully, the promotion has done the intended of getting your product out there so that it would draw others in. Keep it up people, you're are fab.

You do GREAT work and I appreciated the daily free models. If once a week works better for you, I'm all-in. I'm sorry people with the inability to read and comprehend the purpose of the give-away (to attract NEW patreons) caused so much negativity. Keep up the great work!

one options that would give a reason to sign up to be a patron is that the free models could also be placed into a bonus section that is only available to patrons. This way the models would be able to be downloaded beyond the daily when you sign up give a reason to encourage people. I missed a couple of free models and did feel a small amount of negativity knowing that a number of people who did not subscribe were getting something that a patron was not able to have. EDIT: okay, I have been giving this some thought and I think I have an idea that will work for everyone. I imagine the purpose of the free model is to create an awareness promotion to bring in more subscribers. The problem is, that while you are being awesomely generous. You are actually being too generous with a daily model as it is more than most people can print and therefore may not feel the need to subscribe at all. Instead you would be better served with a weekly single free model. Now here is how you will keep the patrons happy. When you release your monthly bundle you should have the bonus models for the month included and clearly marked as bonus. This will give patrons advance access to these bonus models and when the weekly models are distributed won't feel the pressure to rush out and download because they are already included. By adding them to the monthly subscription you also don't need to worry about a separate bonus bucket that continuously fills for a large payout to those who do not subscribe monthly. Now you will be able to promote and drive business without confusing or angering current patrons.

First, thank you. I know you don't have to do this. Once a week is perfect as long as the download option is available all week. Much appreciated.

You've already been incredibly generous with the MASSIVE amount of content per month. :)

Yeah. This is great. I kick myself everytime I miss a model I like but I just can't train this old dog to show up everyday.

I legit had no clue there was a separate free daily model in the first place. I'm amazed I didn't notice it until now.

Incandescent Dragon Creations

wish they would just get added to our MMF accounts. I have missed so many because I though they were there and they are not.
