Hello, this is the 5th May update. Please enjoy!

Before we start, the Pre-Supports of Set 19, 20 & 21 should be ready this weekend! Took a little longer this month since we had a 3rd set to do.

Swamp Cat - These carnivorous cats adapted to the swamp environment and can even swim! They also have a similar (but weaker) acid breath like the black dragon!

Crocodile Tribe - This Crocodile tribe has an ancient rivalry with the Toad Folk tribe. Those toads used to be easy prey but now they are defending themselves, so the crocs had to adapt too.

Revealed 36 of ~80 new May models. More to be shown soon.

Thank You!

Does anyone know if the swamp cat has rules for D&D? Or équivalent ? The models on the rock is fantastique !

epic_miniatures

I am 90% sure that stats/rules for something like that monster still needs to be written. Maybe some kind Patron who reads this wants to do it though. 😃

Josh Gelinas

is there an epic miniatures discord floating around at all?

Those croc models look so good for wargaming.

He's badass. All he needs is an option for huge wings!

Don't you think that the cat tail is about twice as long as it should be. The proportions are off. It seems too thick for too long and doesn't have the grace of a cat tail (or a lizard tail for that matter). And it's got weird bends in it. It looks too much like a worm that doesn't have the muscle structure (or the true muscles) of a vertebrae. I like the idea of a mix between a cat and a lizard but that tail is just . . . off.

epic_miniatures

Our imagination was that it uses its tail to wrap around tree branches at night when it sleeps. It is also a climbing extension. Think about it using its tail like a chameleon. For example imagine it hanging top down and spitting acid on bypassing prey.

Naa, it's perfect. Just add those ginormous wings and it'll be perrrrfect.

Aw man. I love your stuff. I've looked around at other patreons and companies and you are by far the best. Your sculpts are exemplary and you are so generous with models each month. I've joined in January and thought I would take the months models and leave, but I couldn't resist and came back in March. Then, I couldn't bring myself to miss out on anything from you guys, so I'm going to be a longtime patron. May looks great. April was great. There is not a single model that I do not absolutely adore.

Thank you for your kind words and your support Jack! We do our best to give as much back to the community as we can. As a DM myself, I try to make our releases so that they are useful in many different games and are not just decorative pieces on the shelves. It makes us happy when our Patrons have fun using our models in their adventures. 😃

What scale are your miniatures printing out at? Can I upscale them to 75mm or 105mm for painting display level work without loss of detail. I'd really love to print out that Swamp Cat at a D&D "Huge" scale with massive wings on him. Please let me know if you're going to provide an option for wings because I'm Hellbent on putting massively "Huge" wings on that bad boy, painting him and displaying him for all to envy. Oh yeah, it's going to happen.

epic_miniatures

Scaling them to that size is surely possible. The problem with the wings is that I am not sure what would fit. Bat wings? I am not sure.
