Some of my friends and I agree that it can get boring to see the same faces over and over again. But Joe was a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed seeing him in today’s game knights

Correct me if I’m wrong but if jimmy attacked the Sorin instead of josh it would have been at 2 and Joe couldn’t have used the minus ability

The full screen animations were really awesome, guys. The Citadel and VishKal animations were really sweet. Showstopping was great too.

Starts at 4, uptick is a +2 so is at 6 hit for 3 by Kalia Z. Was at 3 not 2 upticked to 5 by killing augur to JLK suprise, jimmy swings kalia z at josh not at sorin so he is still at 5 loyalty. On his next turn Joe uses sorin -3 to set Jimmies total to 10 due to bolas' citadel and life as a resource advantage

Unfortunately, Wizards naming and designing the set around the world "double" didn't magically give us twice the editorial staff, so we don't have the ability to produce Game Knights any faster than before. -JLK

This is awesome guys! Love the animations, and Rakdos in particular was great. Who did the voice acting for Cruel Celebrant? That was definitely a highlight too. At 55 minutes, Josh does Under The Floorboards for madness. Did he pay X of 3? Under The Floorboards is a confusing one where the effect is actually different when you pay the madness cost, and it looks like he tapped four mana, not three there, which would have meant only two zombies and two life. But I can't quite tell! Would be useful for Josh to have declared what he was paying for X.

WOW, amazing episode, so reactive and fresh and the animations are amazing! One question - At the very end, when Joe died, Josh removed the counters off Vish Kal to get rid of the Platinum Angel to finish off Ashlen. Would that have still been in the combat step? If not, wouldn't Joe being out of the game have removed Vish Kal from Josh's board?

Good question, i thought that at first too, but because he made a token copy of it. It was not tied to Joe dying therefore it could stay on the board. :)

I'm curious as to why Ashlen's Mountains were entering tapped after Joe played Blind Obedience since that only cares about Artifacts and Creatures. Was there something turning them into Artifacts that I missed?

I kinda get that Joe had some beef with Josh there, but instead of eating Josh's draw zombie, should he have taken out Ashlen's Metalworker instead? Nice game!

Great episode with many twists. Joe’s new cover is now stuck in my head. Now if we could only go back to the +2 ability of Sorin to Josh instead of putting him to 10 with the -3 ability. Who would have won if that play would have been different? Awesome job with the animations. Really makes it fun to watch. Appreciate all the hard work.

The real question is what did Jimmy get with his Runescarred Demon? It seems like he had to have something better than Kaalia 2 to get there...

I think the biggest mistake of this game was Joe putting Vish Kal into the graveyard. I get that it’s expensive to cast even for the first time but letting it sit in the yard to be reanimated by Scarab God doesn’t seem like a better alternative

Loved this episode! The decks were so interesting to watch play out, and seeing Joe choose to have fun over using Sorin right away was such an awesome choice! I’d love to see more of him in the future
