Last Stand Playmat - Patron Qualification Info (Patreon)

Our Last Stand kickstarter has wrapped-up and soon we'll begin tallying up those of you who qualify to receive a free signed playmat as a Patreon reward.

There have been many people asking if they qualify so, we'd like to explain quickly how that works:

To make it simple, you can think about each piece of free merchandise corresponding to $80 in total contributions. For example, if the only patron merchandise you have received in the past is a Game Knights t-shirt, then you will need to be at a minimum of $160 total support to qualify for the Last Stand playmat. That number is $240 if you got both the Aftermath playmat AND the tshirt. And only $80 if you've never received any merch from us through Patreon before.

You'll notice we don't pay attention to which "tier" you're at. This is because we don't feel it's correct to distinguish between someone who donates $10 per episode but caps their monthly limit at $20 and someone who donates $5 per episode but caps theirs at $20 also. Those two patrons are effectively contributing the exact same amount and should both be eligible for the free merchandise.

Finally, there are some of you who are just below the current qualifying pledge for Last Stand, so we wanted to give you a chance to up your contribution in order to receive it. There is exactly one episode of the podcast left to be released this month, on May 29th. If you are going to end the month at (for example) $70 contributed, you might want to think about upping your contribution for that last episode to push yourself over the $80 threshold for a free playmat. 

We will be tallying the names of qualifying patrons on June 1 (at which point you can lower your pledge amount back down to the normal level).
