Progress Report, 17/11 - 23 (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome to a brief progress report!

A family member just reached their pension so I have a whole darn lot to sort out today, but the week otherwise has been a productive one, with a particularly long shift put towards the Ivy project yesterday. The intro is shaping up nicely and now technically runs from start to finish, with a whole suite of custom animations that, while time consuming to animate, have been a lot of fun to get sorted. VA work is cut appropriately and ready for being put into Blender, something the intro has already had done, with the other scenes hopefully soon to follow. The intro alone is well over a minute long, so this will be quite the project once it is finally finished, and I think that the extra effort I'm putting towards it will make it stand out among all the projects I've done so far. The intro isn't finished yet, requiring a main animation pass, background character motion, lip sync and so on, but it's looking good how it's all coming together - and since it'll set the tone and expectations for the following scenes, I don't want to cut any corners. Work continues, and I'll keep reporting on it to you folks just as always.

The Alley Crew has also served us an uncommon event, which is a straight up tie, for the Scenario this month. The vote is split between Power Girl and Wonder Woman, so the plan is to see if I could, maybe, squeeze both of them in there during posing this Saturday, or if that'll result in a scene load that is simply too much. Worst case scenario I'll bust out my trusted dice, or coin, and do some rolling/flipping to see which one to go for.

The December schedule will also be a bit different, where I hope to take a week off to rest after the main holiday, so a small break between the 25:th and 31:st, where I get the holiday work like a New Years wallpaper and the first poll for January scheduled to fall on the appropriate days. Sadly, owing to how the days and dates fall next year, it presently looks like both December and January will have one loop less, so both months will have 1 loop and 1 Scenario (December's being a Christmas themed one) before regular scheduling returns in February. I'll be sure make a proper announcement about this next Friday so as to give a warning ahead of time to those whom this lapse in the update schedule is considered unacceptable.

The weather remains nice and cool with snow in its usual stubborn battle of attrition with a slightly too warm ground, but soon enough we'll have a frosty blanket covering everything up here, bringing about winter proper.
