Progress Report, 27/02 - 21 (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome to another, if very brief progress report. Sorry for the slight delay on it, this week has been particularly savage over at work, so I arrived home late yesterday and have scrambled for time to do pretty much anything the entire darn week.

That said, I have managed to finish the very first draft of the Continued Negotiations script, which I will share in the attachments below. It's rough and it'll no doubt get some additions as time passes, but for now, this is the general structure of the project, and should give you an understanding of the sheer scope of the darn thing.  Speaking of which, I am considering the notion of splitting it in several parts to work on over time. That way I won't have to save up a significant amount of money and paying the whole VA crew a lump sum, before setting to working on scene 1 for instance, but can rather pay them for individual scenes as I go about finishing them. Once I have them all nailed down, I'll then get to editing it all together into one gigantic project. Might be more manageable, and will allow me to put a lot of work into singular scenes without feeling like I have the work load of the others looming over me in the immediate, though it'll definitely have it take its sweet time. Still, I believe it'll be worth it, and I definitely would like to have it out before the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect is released.

Scene building for the SFM Ashley/Ivy project, still unnamed, is still underway. While I've built a sizable asset library over the years, it's always hard to get them to jive together when trying to mix together different universes - we're talking a sci-fi shuttle landing on a jungle world, with assets from other games than ME on there, and I don't want the juxtaposition between them to be too jarring. Still, work continues, and none shall stop the steady march of progress. I really need to figure out a name that works well for it in my damn brain.

I'm still struggling with the Tifa project to make it come into its own, but have found some enticing ideas fitting into the ordeal. There's also the chance that I'll be revamping the project in question, including Scarlet instead of Jessie, and changing the setting to facilitate better storytelling than simply "tifa gang bang in room". Whatever makes it work in the end and motivates me to work on it is what will be the path we take.

I know gang bang is technically one word, incidentally, it's just that patreon notifies me that the word as potentially inappropriate or rule breaking, so I avoid using it for fear of having my post flagged or the likes. We're not doing any TOS breaking stuff on here, but I rather not poke the bear regardless :)

Speaking of breaks - I've considered a brief break sometime in the month of March to recharge my batteries. It's at most going to be a week, and I will notify everyone if I decide on taking it, as it's very dependent on my schedule at work. If my work schedule decides to ease up, I will probably not need it, and can keep working at the pace I am doing now. Still, last year was damn tough and this one is not any better, and I got very little holiday time off, which is starting to wear me down slightly as the months go by.

Commissions are still underway. By the gods, I promise they are.
