They always showed up late, even by bar standards. For as long as she could remember, there seemed to have been some kind of unspoken rule among the Shinra guards that the slums were the place for off-duty entertainment, but over the years, they had encroached upon the poverty stricken zones to such an extent that they now had an almost permanent presence - even during work hours.

As such, it wasn't uncommong for them to visit during closing hours and, with the usual caveats, demand access to some of the finer liqueur of her dingy bar. Worse still, they often came with their superiors in tow, whose complaints about her table arrangements didn't sting so much as the smug look on their face as Tifa set to work, doing what she does best.

"Serving patrons" changed meaning, near closing hours.
