I’ve pretty much finished up the vast majority of the new combat mechanics. I’ll give a brief overview of some of what that entails: First of all you will need to advance the main quest to “unlock” combat. There will be a combat tutorial during that. Once completed, enemies will be able to be encountered while using the Explore button on the map screen (and possibly other ways later). Losing to enemies will simply lead to losing credits(money). There’s no game over, bad end, forced scene, etc. There are two methods of winning combat. The first is, of course, beating the shit out of them. You can win loot or credits with this method. The second is to seduce them into submission. From here you can choose to help finish them off or just leave them to deal with the problem themselves. If you choose to help, you will see a scene and grab some loot. If not, you will just leave without any scene or loot.

I made the entire combat mechanics from scratch. There’s more I want to add later such as sounds and visual effects, but it’s good enough for now. There’s some other things I didn’t mention above like weapons that effect damage and change your special attack. That’ll all be in the change-log.

On a different note, the main quest will advance a little in this update. The image attached is a little preview. It should be fairly action packed. I have most of the resources ready and the majority of the text and dialog done. I just need to make the background images, some NPC and enemy images, and add it all to the game. If everything is finished in time, I’ll start on the gallery for replaying scenes. Then that will be it in terms of major game mechanics. I’ll be able to focus on adding nothing but content afterwards.

Speaking of content and since I don’t really plan on making a roadmap, here’s a few of the things I plan on adding later aside from the main quest: The hotel room and the ability to rent it for various actions. A player apartment that is like the hotel room but better. Romance options with some characters that will involve more than just fucking (but plenty of that too). Body modifications that can grant various abilities, stat boosts, etc. Outfits that can change the effectiveness of seduction skills in combat. Character customization that offers nothing but eye candy. And of course, the continued expansion of existing content until I feel it is all feature complete.

Oh yeah, I got rid of all of the silhouettes. There’s random NPC images now. I might add some variations later. Thanks you as always!
