Good evening! I wanted to take a moment to give another Turn update. If you haven't followed along this month, I've been giving the game a refactor and touch-up in several places before moving on to new content. If you missed last week you can check out one of the improved lewd cutscenes here.
That was last week. This week a lot of sprites got overhauls. Including the main character's starting human sprite, shown below.
The goal is to make Turn just a little bit more presentable and professional looking, as well as bring all the characters together under a shared bar of quality.
There's also been work on lots of additional content that can't be shown yet. New projectiles (and new, shinier projectile code), new dialog, new level sections, a giant meteor?
There has been some minor work on the size of the game too. The old build of Turn was 108MB. At last check, that number was cut by more than half!
You'll see this stuff in the Halloween build, which I hope to have out to you guys a few days in advance of Halloween.
