Here's the exciting conclusion to my Kyoto video series! Headed west for the bamboo forest on the last day, the place is so photogenic it's hard to express. All in all I love Kyoto more now than I did before so it was a solid visit!

If you missed them:

Part 2: https://youtu.be/2iPN8y98vH0

Up next is the Tottori series!

(note: this final Kyoto video is kinda long but I decided not to "bill" it to Patreon because..uh, well, I don't know, I just didn't feel it. Anyways just wanted to be clear I didn't bill out three videos this month, just two as always.)

Finally some action packed title for a video! Wish I could grab some popcorn while watching it, buy alas I'm in Bangladesh right now and they don't grow much corn here.

Jay and I watched this one together and we both totally agree with you that Kyoto feels very distinct from Tokyo. The sprawling feel of Kyoto, weirdly, is actually what Perth feels like. There’s a main “city centre” and sure, there are places around the city that are busy elsewhere - but you’ve got to travel at least 30 minutes to get to them. The main difference, I think, is that our public transport is meh at best.

Oh nice, hope your visit there is a nice one. We have always wanted to go to Bangladesh but the opportunity has never come up. Hopefully sometime, it looks like a place we'd dig. -E

Oh interesting, neat to make parallels like that to places far away. What's funny is in my head Perth sounds far-flung and exotic, haha. -E
