Later today, I'll be reading the annual report for 7&i, the Japanese company that owns all 7-11s worldwide.  Gonna get paid to read about slurpees!  -Kyde

From what I've seen in your videos, the food in Japanese 7-11's is much more interesting and high quality than in the American counterparts. I wish they would open a Japanese branch here in Manhattan. I bet it would do well. -Justin

You've just teased us with the post, I'm keen to know more - how did it go? Did you read it in Japanese or English? How long did it take to read?

I can't believe you want to know more! Well, it went very well! First, the content is exciting to me which always helps with projects. Secondly, it's mostly a copy from last year, so I can take it easy and put focus on the new bits. I read it in English and would never be able to proofread anything in Japanese! And it took me around 10 hours. I read 5 pages an hour. This sound insane, but I have to fact check anything that I see. Company name, gotta check it. Bar graph, gotta check lots about it. Financial figures, gotta check them all! Although the one that I proofread this year is printed and published, they haven't put it on the website yet. So if you want to see what I've been looking at... here is last year's copy!
