The "no doughnuts are left in this truck" thing is a joke, but with serious origins. There has been a bit of a problem of tradesmen having their vans broken in to and tools stolen (nationally, not specifically in London). But along with that there is also the problem of empty vans being broken into because the thief thought there was something worth stealing, and that still costs money to fix. So you sometimes will see "no tools are left in this van overnight" on the back of such vans. The Krispy Kreme thing is a parody of that.

Oh, and the previous London Bridge (originally built in the 1830s) was dismantled and moved to Arizona in the 60s, when they built the current bridge.
