USA Update! Photos from The Bay Area (Patreon)

Hi everyone, we are currently in Mississippi for a bit but I figured I'd share some (ok, a lot of) photos from our week staying with friends in The Bay Area for anyone curious what the visit has looked like.

Make sure to click on the photos open a gallery with a bit of commentary under each photo.

By the way, we did not film in California and probably won't here either as the primary purpose is visiting friends and family we haven't seen for ages, but I hope to film next week while we are in NYC.

We have been and will keep doing periodic livestreams during our visit in the states though, so make sure to keep an eye over at twitch.tv/kydeanderic .

It's a long story but we are smuggling a tanuki (not Golden Balls) to America to gift to a friend for his wedding.
He rides in first class!
Sometimes you see cool planes in Japan. This is one of those times.
Flying American and...well....I won't show what was on the floor next to us but here's the next surprise: parts of the plane are loose. lol.
I know California is brown but it always surprises me to see just how brown it is.

We hit the Winchester Mystery House with some friends. I lived down the street from this as a kid but this is my first visit.

We headed into San Fran with all the same friends and got a beelined for a burrito so fast I didn't get a photo. Here's some hot chocolate.

I seriously wonder why good mini-golf isn't a big deal in Japan, it seems perfect. Maybe we should open one.

Deal! By the way, Kyde headed on her own to New Mexico to see some friends, so the rest of this visit was me solo.
The local BART station is literally in the center of a highway. It's...a vibe.
I spent a day solo in San Fran livestreaming on Twitch. Did a lot of walking and saw a lot of cool parts of the city. Lots of fun.

Someone took a picture of me taking a picture of the fire alarm and posted it on Instagram.
In the touristy bit of Chinatown there were some dudes playing what I can only describe as Chinese bluegrass on the street.
Met a kitty in Chinatown.
Hit up the outside of the Twitch headquarters on my way out of the city.
This stop put me on a path home that stopped in West Oakland due to a sudden 24 hour BART outage.
Met this fox and his friend on the train who helped me understand just how stabby West Oakland is.
A friend to the rescue! They picked me up in Oakland before i got stabbied.
We had this great donut shop nearby we hit for breakfast three times. Btw that is killer apple juice.

In America trains ride cars. This kinda blows my mind, this is how they transport trains for maintenance. What.

So ok, this is new for us to see in person. I know it's not news but for us it's like seeing a mythical creature.

San Francisco looks so cool, even in glum weather.
Arriving at the airport! On my way to meet Kyde in Texas to then head onward to Mississippi.

Had a *very* tight connection but made it at the last possible second.

Pic 4, I hope you alerted the crew because they often are not aware of problems like this. Hope you are having fun and enjoying reconnecting with friends and family!
