July Update: Happy Wrath Month! I've taken over Patreon (Patreon)

Hello Patreon friends!

Patreon takeover! Today (July 1) I'm taking over Patreon's official Instagram account (this is real, not a joke, even though it sounds like one!) to share a behind-the-scenes look at how I do all my videos, podcasts, and livestreams. If you ever wanted to see what my process and setup is like, I'll be revealing all throughout the day today!

New tags! Not only was I able to release TWO videos (whew) in June, I also updated the tags here on Patreon so it's now easier for you to find the Bonus Videos that members get at $2+, and also the Early Ad-Free Access videos that go out to members at $10+. (And also to long-time members who are grandfathered in from the old tiers! Thank you for being a member for so long!) 

New videos in June! In case you missed them -- this month's videos were John Waters, Divine, and the Trinity of Trash, all about how three very gay films from the 1970s changed the world; and also What Makes Disney Villains so Gay? which was all about ... get this ... what makes Disney villains so gay.

Bonus Videos! Patreon backers at $2+ get exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming videos, and bonus videos with fun stories that I uncovered in my research but didn't have room for in final scripts. This month I shared some stories about John Waters -- including the one time he got arrested for an exposed butt and the never-made sequel to Pink Flamingos -- and also a mystery about the inspiration for Snow White's Evil Queen (a mystery that a Patreon backer wound up solving in the comments)! 

Upcoming Videos! I've got two new videos in the works, with plans to release them both in July. The first is about the most iconic couple in the universe, Garak and Bashir from Deep Space 9 -- or at least, they WOULD have been a couple if someone hadn't torpedoed their relationship behind the scenes. Who was responsible? LET'S INVESTIGATE. The second video that I'm planning will be about the Muppets, and the folks behind the cameras and in front who slipped queerness into the mayhem.

Sewers of Paris! We kicked off Pride month with a star -- check out my interview with cabaret icon Justin Vivian Bond! Also featured this month were conversations with comic book artist Joe Glass, travel host Ravi Roth, and soap opera obsessive Benji Carr.
