Just needed to say that the email that went out in the wee small this morning appeared to announce some sort of 4th wall break. In my gmail box it told me: Episode 44: A Brace of Kinsmen Listen on Patreon. An old man gets a second chance. That would create some interesting continuity issues, no? The episode itself was wonderful as usual.

Hey family, I just finished "A Brace of Kinsmen" and this may be your finest writing yet, and not for the reason you might think. I mean, there were episodes that creeped me out, and a couple that hit a great, sustained high note of tension. This one, though...this one was, dare I say, sweet and heartfelt. Your description of the happiness of a stepdad and his stepfam...that was right in the feels, as the younguns say. Well done all round.
