 Now for those that are not aware, I had actually worked on a comic series some time ago known as " A Bat Followed Me Home " cute, silly, and rip your heart out depressing at times. Well I walked away from it for a bit. For a couple of reasons actually, so we'll take the short route on the explanation.

First off, my best elements usually come in smaller projects. They often allow me to go wild and be more abstract without backtracking and second guessing myself. A Bat Followed Me Home is actually the longest running comic I have at 265 pages. That being said, I really slammed my head into some walls constantly rehearsing and visualizing the same world over and over.

Second off, the community response to the series was varied but overall I often felt saddened at the commentary and overall reception as time went on. It eventually devolved into jokes, comparison, mocking, and even harassment which broke me down on further pages. 

Lastly, I needed a break from comics altogether which after, I really was able to further discover different styles and patience for great attention to detail as well form. All this in combination is what lead to my hiatus on the series. However that does not mean I have not been working with it nor furthering it in notes and writing. Though some have believed it dead, it is quite the opposite actually.

With that being said, A Bat Followed Me Home will be making the rounds again eventually, and it's probably going to have a bit of whiplash with a little more flavor and style that time has allotted me. It's been a bit, and I'm sorry for those of you that were interested and then suddenly were cut off. I'll make it up to you eventually. After all, you're my nii, right?
