Reech Ord was the last of many who stared upon the blood of the wounded cosmos, and pleaded with all their being not to be broken by such a sight. But they would hear the terrible wails and fall to an unending abyss. 

All things have already ended, and the end is only the beginning. Life is fragile, and wounds heal. Reech Ord fell so very far and witnessed a garden whose strings reached upwards and downwards deeper still, and a truth blossomed in their broken body. 

To live is to be vulnerable, and to exist is to invite the inevitability of breaking. But those who shield their hearts and dwell on both misery and fear, neither live nor exist. 

The universe in all its vast unconsciousness still groans outwardly in a deep sadness not unlike that of one suffering a long, terrible dream. The cold prince revealed the inheritors of the primordial, wounded cosmos would forever hold a debt in their hands, that in the form of an untouchable ring flowing in perpetuity.  

But there may be more to it still than inheriting this ring and all the pain within it. Perhaps, as Reech Ord would whisper...it is opening ourselves to all possible consequences of life and the anguish that may be found in it....by living so vulnerably and sincere.
