The Kiln (Patreon)

Good evening my dears! I hope you are doing alright tonight! 

Up for download and viewing is a piece I call " The Kiln " Inspired by Joy Key's " Her Perfume " which sadly is no longer available to view. However the music can be found in the video file paired with this post! 

For the past couple of weeks I have felt absolutely mentally fogged and drained of concentration let alone desire. It has been...frustrating to say the least. And so I wanted to work on a piece that could illustrate that frustration, and the complete awareness of its presence that it generally entails.

 " A kiln..you're a kiln! And in you, everything burns up! " 

The memories freshly wound their way through its chest. It sighed like a tree having been scorched long ago. It whispered to itself both in pity and enforced reflection.

"I'm...I'm not...I don't burn......I don't...burn..."

It wept quietly beneath the blanket of smoke. No one would ever know.
