Good afternoon my dears, I hope you are doing well today! 

Just giving a break down of the current progress on version 1.4, and what has been going on these past few days. I'm going to break it down in brief bullet points below for those of you not wanting to be weighed down with all the details. Below that will be a bit more discussion on said points.

- New scene backgrounds

- New music and sound effects

- New character models and item assets

- Adjusted Shark Chan's big beautiful eyes lower by 15% 

- Testing animated scene transitions to get rid of awkward pauses

- Cherry Blossom trees. Yes.

The amount of time spent on this upcoming version will be a bit more compared to the previous entries. A lot of this is largely due to the new scene backgrounds being designed. As some of you know, environmental details are one of the areas I tend to flounder in art wise. What I will tell you though is that these upcoming scenes will be my most colorful and detailed yet, and they are something I am especially proud of having done, and there is certainly more that needs to be done still. 

Along with new background scenes, I'm also designing a multitude of new character models, complete with facial sprite sets which has also been a bit of a time sink. 

Speaking of sprite sets, I've made a minor but well needed adjustment to our dear Shark-Chan. Her eyes have been lowered just a smidge. It's a very subtle change but one I feel will enhance our Sharky experience. 

I'm also testing in this upload version a different approach to scene transitions especially when it comes to fade outs and what have you. I would love to hear some of your guy's opinions on it when this next release finally drops. :)
