Progress Update #99 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone. Sorry for the late update, I was dealing with some pet troubles last month and it really messed up my schedule. It's all good now, so let's start with a picture of a young Pekora enjoying some baked goods. Yep, her mom owns a bakery in this universe, and everything is carrot flavored!

The Nousagi logo above the door is a nod to Peko-chan, the very popular Japanese candy mascot. The only similarity between her and Pekora is the name, but that was enough for an official crossover back in march.

And here's the entire family together, enjoying some quality time outdoors. Bugs is trying to relax but parenting can be very exhausting. Especially when your daughter grows up to become a war criminal.

I'm finally done animating and painting the opening, and I seriously gotta stop making these types of scenes. It took multiple days just to paint it, and the amount of high-res photoshop textures kept After Effects crashing constantly.

It still looks awesome though! Seeing so many characters moving around and doing different tasks in an isometric view makes this feel a lot like an RTS game. That would be a cool idea for a fan game actually, just Pekora taking over the world with an army of rabbits. I don't think anyone has made a hololive strategy game like that yet.

Anyway, that is it for now. I wish I had more to show you guys, but it just took a ton of time to finish these. Now I can finally move on to the other scenes.
