More placeholder art for more characters in the game!

Lady White Chocolate (is that a mouthful?) is a princely lady and the first art I've drawn since actively deciding to update my art style. See this post for more info.

I've decided all the different types of chocolate will be related somehow, and since Lady Chocolate is a ballet dancer I thought it might be cool for all the Chocolate ladies to specialize in some type of classical performance.

White Choco is gonna be an actress inspired by the Takarazuka Revue, a theater in Japan featuring only female actors. One notable thing about Takarazuka Revue is the female actors who play male roles, who are meant to represent the woman's ideal of a man. The perfomances are very Broadway like, with grand musical numbers and flashy showgirl-style costumes.

...hence this shitpost lmao

The lady in the corner is Lady Dark Chocolate, who will be another sister in the Chocolate family.

The sketch on the left is inspired by Mexican fashion in the 1800s (specifically Josefina the American Girl doll - I devoured those American Girl books as a kid). I chose this period partially because of my love for the American Girl dolls, but also because the original Nutcracker Ballet uses Spain as the inspiration for the Chocolate character, and so that period seemed to be the best overlap between referencing both the original ballet and the real origins of chocolate.

It's meant to be a more formal version of Lady Chocolate's ballet dress, which has a more candy-like interpretation of the peineta comb and mantilla veil. But I was having trouble figuring out what sort of performing art she would specialize in with this dress...

And then I doodled this burlesque outfit on the right, and I think something sultry like burlesque would fit Dark Chocolate really well, but I don't really think the burlesque outfit itself screams Dark Chocolate, so I think the left is gonna be her "main" outfit and the right is her "performing" outfit - maybe she takes on a stage name like Lady Ganache or something of the sort.
