August project update + poll (Patreon)

Overhauling the art for Sugarplum Cafe! I intended to procrastinate on finalizing the art style until closer to release, knowing how much I was gonna redo the art regardless, but I realize how much good art matters to people when talking about the game and I'd like to announce the game soon. So even if this isn't the final art, at least it's nicer art than before!

Vanilla has stayed pretty much the same, although I finally figured out how to make her pesky hair swirls look nice.

Chocolate had her hair curls replaced with large bar earrings because it fits her theme better. I imagine she has a long braid in the back.

Strawberry's bloomers were switched for a miniskirt to match her femme aesthetic better, but the bloomer version will come back for another flavor.

Mint's gone through a preppy redesign as she was intended to be an academic. I still like her original outfit, but it'd work better for a different flavor. If you can guess it (or the other flavor), bonus points to you ;)

Still gotta draw the Madelines and the other four ladies, but my laptop died on me Saturday :') I was already thinking about getting a new one, but the current laptop death still took me by surprise so I'm not prepared to replace it right away. If I don't post next week, assume I'm still in the process of getting my new setup.

In the meantime, would love to know which of the titles below you'd prefer for these characters! Although actually the question is "which sounds less sketch, Lady Milk or Miss Milk?" 🤣
