I started working on a "draw your mutuals' profile pics" challenge going around on Twitter and wanted to take a stab at thinner lineart. But I'm not sure if I like these new lines, even though I can get more detail in with the hair. Do you like the thicker lines in my old work or these new thinner lines more?

Here's the WIP:

Right: @Super_Blubber (aka Maka)

And for reference, here are some closeups of my older work with thick lineart:

My gut feeling is leaning towards the thicker lines, the thinner lines don't really feel like me. But I like the stippling lines technique I tried in the thinner lineart and would love to try and translate it to thicker lines, though I'm skeptical.

The reason I'm exploring my art style again is that I feel like Sugarplum Cafe won't look good in my current art style. I do like it, but something about my art doesn't feel like it would fit the beautiful aesthetic I have in mind for the game. I think partly I'm concerned that my extreme stylization would throw players off, and also partly I don't really think my art style is that beautiful and I want it to be :(

So I'm open to any feedback you might have about my art style or anything!
