Pantone 2021 WIP (Patreon)

The Pantone Color of the Year is Ultimate Gray + Illuminating and god I do not enjoy this color combo one bit. But thank god I don't post these looks until the end of the year, because it took me eleven months to figure something out. 

The idea is that in the monotony that is gray, illuminating yellow finds a way to shine through. Or something like that.
It's less extreme and costumey than my typical designs, but I think it's the kind of design that high fashion aficionados might like. I normally don't do asymmetry, but I'm happy with this.

I also haven't really drawn a dark-skinned model in a while and that needed to change! I think this design looks good with her current skin tone.

This week or next week I'll be posting the full art process for $5+ patrons, including several unused designs before I landed on this final one. Keep your eyes peeled!
