Work in progress + sketches! (Patreon)

I mentioned before that I wanna try to share more stuff that is still in progress, so here you go! Some of the things I've been working on lately while experimenting with different workflows. More demons and stuff! And also a rare piece of fan art. Moxxi is a fun character. :) And I'm attaching a Paintstorm brush here as well that I've been enjoying recently. Maybe you'll like it too.

I've felt optimistic about new stuff I've been trying out. I've been trying to find a way to separate local colors and light more accurately through using layers with different kinds of blending modes. You could see some of that in the last illustration, and I've made an attempt at continuing that through these. But I have again run into the problem of the workflow becoming tedious with a ton of layers I have to manage, so I'm escaping back to a workflow that is simpler and more comfortable for me. You might even be able to pinpoint the exact moment that happens in one of the videos for these, lol. The change in workflows is why these look a bit different. It's been an interesting learning experience though! And I'm trying to bring a few new tricks back into the old workflow. I'll see if I can share more about what worked and what didn't work later, alongside the videos!
