I don’t know for how many days I waited, but the Raikage was finally on the move, according to my intel, The Raikage would be leading a battalion of ninja to one of our posts, once I learned this fact from the mouth of Yogumi, I hardened my resolve, and needless to say, my blood was boiling, at last, the day of retribution had finally come, and so I moved through Amegakure to face the Raikage in combat.

Just as Yogumi had said, I found myself face to face with the Raikage, “Surrender quietly, and I will make your death a quick one,” I said, staring at him. “Consider this your only painless option.”

Hanging his head high, the Raikage let an ironic smile slip across his face. “Raiden Senju the Undead Calamity of the Leaf, I am quite honored the universe itself has decided I am the one destined to kill you.”

“I am glad you are choosing the hard way,” I chuckled, “I truly am, you know, I hate this… killing people, the smell of blood in the air… the screams of agony, I hate it all… I never truly wanted to become a ninja, but in a world like this… it was this or dying, the point is… I hate it all, but right now… the only thing that I hate more than it is you.”

The Raikage sneered. His condescending attitude forcing a frown on my face. “I guess this is about your sensei, he would be proud to know his student would die to avenge him, so sad your attempts will lead to nothing.”

“Haven’t you heard? I can’t be killed… you, on the other hand, are still a mortal,” I hissed, benign cocky was not something I was known for, but with him, I couldn’t help myself.

The Raikage laughed, “I am truly honored that they sent you to deal with me, one of the strongest ninjas in Konoha’s history, is truly the greatest honor Konoha could give me, as it is the honor of killing you.” At this, his body flared with chakra, being fully covered with a thick lightning coat of chakra from head to toe.

At once, the distance between us closed. With incredible speed, right and left palms came flying toward my throat and solar plexus simultaneously, he was fast, faster than me, but I knew how to deal with fast opponents, using Blink I teleported behind him and in the tenth of a second that took him to react, I used, Fire Blast, blasting him away.

This however did nothing but push him a few meters away, for the attack didn’t even burn him, “Lightning Release: Lariat!” almost as if teleporting he appeared in front of me, his arm almost wrapping around my neck, which was ultimately what I wanted.

Using Evasion, I dodged his attack with incredible ease, and in the process planted an explosive tag on his back, “Explosive Tag Shadow Clone Technique!” multiplying that tag from one to a thousand, I exploded all the tags on him, blasting him away.

“I was right,” Much to my surprise, the Raikage had survived, with a few minor wounds considering the amount of damage those explosions should’ve dealt, “I was right to come and face you alone.”

“All that did was to ensure you will die alone,” I commented, as I casted Combustion to increase my critical strike to one hundred percent for five seconds, and started to cast Pyroblast, the Raikage seeing this moved out of sight quickly, unfortunately for him, I had expected this and when the cast was almost done, I used Shadow Step to teleport behind blasting him with my strongest fire Jutsu at point-blank range.

Surprisingly, while this had actually hurt him by the look of his bloody back, it didn’t slow him down and faster than I could react he grabbed me by the waist, and lifted me up high into the sky, “Liger Bomb!” Then, using his extremely enhanced strength, the Raikage smashed me head first onto the ground, creating a massive explosion that destroyed a big chunk of the battleground we were using.

“It is done,” The Raikage declared.

“Is it now?” I commented, completely unharmed by his attack, all thanks to Divine Shield, using his shock to my advantage, I used Typhoon to lock in him place, releasing me from his hold. “That last attack tickled,” I grinned, I knew had I not used Divine shield, that attack would’ve killed, forcing me to use my Soul Stone, but is not often I get to annoy a Kage in combat.

Using the time where Typhoon kept him in place, I moved a few steps back throwing a few explosive tags around him, waiting for the stun to be about to end, for if I used my technique before that it would do no damage, as Typhoon stunned and protected the target from damage, three, two, one, “Explosive Tag Shadow Clone Technique!!” I shouted, this time creating ten times more explosive tags than the last time, engulfing the Kage in a massive explosive as soon as Typhoon stopped working.

“Hell Stab! One-Finger Nukite!” Once again, alive and surprisingly so the Raikage came at me, faster than ever before, using his signature technique.

Using Cloak of Shadows to block the chakra part of his attack, and Blessing of Protection to block the physical one, I took the attack head-on, turning the lethal attack into a one-finger poke, “You can’t hurt me,” I whispered, loud enough for him to hear, as I summoned my Infernal, “Have fun,” I muttered as my infernal tackled him into the ground.

He was strong, very strong, he had forced me to use not one, but three invulnerability spells, but each time he did something like that he suffered damage beyond repair, “Shadow Clone Technique!” creating ten clones, I rounded the Raikage a circle as me and my clones said, “Arcane Missiles!” drowning him in a shower of attacks. Perhaps he would survive this too, but no matter how many times I had to push him, I would kill him, one way or another.
