After moving to Forks, I decided to try to get something to pass the time, what did I as a person want to do for the rest of my life? I no longer had to be a soldier, or a vampire hunter, now... I had to get something new, something to spend eternity without getting bored.

Carlisle wanted me to go to school with the others, and although striking... I didn't want to spend an eternity repeating high school, it sounded kind of depressing, I wanted variety, if not... what was the point of being immortal? if all I was going to do was to repeat the same thing over and over again.

"What do you recommend Venom?" I asked my symbiote.

"In your memories you wanted to learn to play the harp," Venom replied.

The harp.... interesting idea, but it sounded more like a hobby than anything else, maybe I could be a doctor, with Venom by my side I would be able to help people more easily.

Well, in the end it didn't matter much, I had an eternity to decide what I wanted for myself, for now... I would enjoy what I had, and that was that I had my sister back.

"Jack," Emmett who had returned from his hunt, greeted me, "I was talking to Edward, and we wanted to ask you... how strong and fast are you?"

A rather strange question, but somewhat expected, this was common among men, I remember my days in the army, and the stupid questions my companions asked me, in the end, everything ended up being a competition, "About two hundred and fifty miles per hour," I answered.

"Is... is that faster than you Edward?" Emmett whispered to Edward, who nodded and smiled.

"I think so, Jack is overall faster, and stronger than a vampire, without my ability to read his mind, he would have killed me when we first met," Edward admitted with a faint smile.

"Oh... well, then, that makes Jack our fastest brother," Emmett grinned, jabbing Edward in the ribs.

Brother? I think Emmett is moving a little fast, but I'll let it slide, at least it's not an insult, "I'm also the strongest," I smirked, looking at Emmett, who lost any remaining sense of joy he had.

" That's right," Edward smiled, "he's the strongest, and the fastest, good thing he can't read minds, or I'd lose my last title,"

"I'll go see Rosalie," Emmett pouted, running to Rosalie.

"Will he get over it?" I asked Edward with a chuckle.

"Yeah," Edward nodded, looking over to Emmett, who was being comforted by Rosalie, "He knows it was a joke, he just likes to have excuses for Rosalie to spoil him,"

"He's a big baby on steroids," I laughed.

"He is," Edward agreed.

"Jack!" Alice, who had returned from her walk in town, shouted, jumping on top of me, "I bought you a lot of clothes! I want you to wear them now!"

I looked at her, and looked at Jasper, who sighed giving me a look that said, you have no escape, "Sure... I have nothing to do," I smiled, how bad could it be... seconds later I realized that not even the army could have prepared me for what Alice and her shopping meant... as I spent two days straight without sleep, trying on outfits. At least, I looked good in all of them.

[Many years later]

And so, the years went by, it's amusing how time goes by when you are immortal, the more the years go by, the faster they feel, proving that Einstein was right... time is relative, relative to the one who experiences it. In Forks we lived for a decade, during which I became a doctor, aka a general practitioner, with Carlisle's help, but in the end I discovered that this was not my passion, it was a hobby, I liked to help people, but what I really liked was... investing, because in the end, with money, you could help more people than in any other way.

And so, over the years, I invested in many companies I knew would be great hits, if this world was anything like my own.

In 1954, I invested in Burger King, then... in 1955 I invested in McDonald's, years later, in 1958 I invested in Visa, then in 1960 I invested in Domino's Pizza, in 1962 I invested in Walmart, in 1962 I invested in comcast, in 1966 I invested in MasterCard, and in 1968 I invested in Intel, then in 1971 I invested in Starbucks, I almost invested in Atari in 1972. ... but... I didn't want to lose my money, so in 1975 I invested in Microsoft, and the following year I invested in Apple, in 1976.

The list went on, including companies like Activision, Victoria Secret, Versace and others, but the point is, knowing that these companies would make me a billionaire, I invested in all of them. What would I do with the money? I didn't know yet, but something would come out.

During this time, we moved a lot, from Forks, to Alaska, from Alaska to the Amazonas, all in the hopes to keep the appearances, with me eventually taking the Cullen last name to help our charade mostly because Alice and I looked so much alike, that people started asking questions why we didn’t have the same last name, it wasn’t that much of a big deal, I didn’t want to keep my father’s name anyway.

Over the decades, I found that I had opened myself to the Olympian coven beyond what I had anticipated, I cared for them deeply, each of them was impressively important to me, with Edward being the one I could talk to if I felt overwhelmed about something.

Jasper, being the one I never had to say anything, which sometimes I needed, Rosalie… with her sass making me smile, and keeping me up my toes, Carlisle with his fatherly attitude, the man behaved like a father to everyone, including me, which was weird, maybe it was pathological, but who cares, though to be fair, at times made me feel strange, I never had a good father, and him acting like one would expect a father to act, was strange, and not in a wrong way, he didn’t impose himself over others, he was simply there to give advice, and hear you out.

Esme, being Esme, always trying to make everyone happy, and last and certainly not least, Alice, who while not remembering me, loved me more than anyone else in the group, and I confirmed, using Jasper as an emotional meter, he doesn’t like being called that, but I do anyways.

I guess in short, my life… became more… human, which was funny, considering I lived with a coven of bloodsucking vampires that had… relapses every now and then, which was the main reason we had to move.

“I am sorry!” Jasper cried from outside my room.

“It’s okay buddy!” It was not, he ate my friend, on her birthday, the poor Jefferson’s will never recover from that loss...

“We all make mistakes, and we learned from them,” Esme added.

“What she said,” I agreed, poor Tiffany… so young, so full of blood.
