A Slice Of Normalcy (Patreon)

Most people have Labor Day weekend off and perform relaxing, unwinding duties. Standing by a grill with a beer in hand, sitting in a backyard laughing with friends and taking a deep breath with not a care in the world; that's what comes to mind when I think about what other people did this past weekend. I on the other hand, worked bell to bell at my day job and did not do much else.

Today however, I had the day off. I was able to refill my fridge with fresh produce and groceries for the first time in two weeks, laundry that has been piling up, plant tending and I finally got to make myself a well thought out and delicious meal. Today was a slice of normalcy for me and I can tell you more is to come with in the next couple weeks. Due to all of my endless hours at my day job, I have racked up about three months worth of vacation time which I will absolutely be using in the fall. Some travel, camping and shooting is in my near future and I cannot wait to hold a camera in my hands as I stand in nature once more.
