Just shy of three years ago and I can remember every single bit of this one night stay in the most beautiful yet creepy Airbnb. The reason for the stay in this stunning space was an early arrival. On yet another countless trips to Phoenix, Reed and I rolled into the desert city a night before we were suppose too. On the way in, Reed was looking through Airbnb for a space that we could wake up and shoot in before heading to our hotel. With a couple quick scrolls she came across this space. She flashed the phone to me as I was driving and with one glance I said absolutely; twenty seconds later the home was booked and GPS routed to.

Upon our arrival to the home our excitement turned quickly to a puzzling feeling. The front door was that of a glass pull door for a business complete with the sideways 'U' shaped handle, a spinning lock that you have to turn nine times to get the door secured and surprisingly no pull down shade to obstruct the view of outside onlookers into the space. We were extremely off-put by this, coupled with the fact there were endless security cameras surrounding the property with what seemed like maybe a couple that could slightly see into the home; we were creeped. However, since the space was already booked and we were extremely tired from the drive we locked ourselves in the master bedroom and ordered pizza. Half pepperoni half jalapeño & feta cheese. When I say we locked ourselves in the bedroom I literally mean we locked the door, closed the blinds and checked the entire room to make sure there were no cameras watching us.

The next morning we woke up and went through our normal routine while on the road. Reed began to get ready and I ventured out into the scorching hot world with two missions; first, coffee and second, double toasted asiago bagels with chive cream cheese. With the morning routine later complete we sorted out how we were going to shoot in the space that we felt like we were constantly being watched in. We started in the bedroom with a couple dreamy 'morning wake up' images and then moved to the living room where we swiftly worked through a set; swiftly only because we did not want to get caught. I honestly do not know where this feeling of hesitation came from but it was just the endless cameras all over the outside of the home that has us weirded out.

Right before we left for the day and checked out, Reed threw on her cute little outfit that she has just bought a few days prior and we shot a couple images for her social media. Well, as always, those couple images turned into her untying her shirt. Enjoy!
