I stumbled across this video last night when I went into my photo album on my phone and 'memories' popped up. I watched the entire thing and got the same feeling I did when we first made the video and knew I had to share it again. I will be sharing what I wrote on the original post here below. Enjoy!

"As you know, I always accompany Reed to mostly all of her shoots. I take behind the scenes, Polaroids and assist her as well as the photographer in anything they could possibly need during the shoot. This day was no different, but today I added some behind the scenes professional video shot on my D810. The studio was too perfect to not shoot high definition video!

Later that day we got home and I immediately dumped the footage into my Lightroom and began editing through it. That is how excited I was about this content. As I was working through the intro I got to 0:57, I stopped, watched what was already done and showed Reed. We were both absolutely smitten with the results so far. I sat there for a minute or two and then turned to Reed and told her that this video would be immensely better if we returned and shot up close footage, instead of just the behind the scenes, off to the side footage that I had already shot. She immediately logged onto the studios website and booked the room for the very next day at the same time as we were there the first go; so the light would be consistent in both different day's footage. We had the space for an hour so we had to work quickly.

Water on, clothes off and Reed in the rain. Before we returned we looked through the footage that we had and came up with a mental list  of what we wanted to capture in our hour there. I would say we got nearly 95% of our ideas that we had and even some that we did not have the previous night while we were brainstorming. After shooting video for a bulk of the time, we shot a few images that I am extremely proud of and will come to you at a later date. We also shot some film; 600, SX-70 and FP-100C.

Our time was up. Water off, Reed wrapped in a towel and I started packing up my gear. Within the next couple days I completed the rest of the video and we have watched it over a dozen times since it has been complete. I would have to say this is my most impressive film short to date; in my mind. I am utterly obsessed with every shot, every angle and the composition of the entire short. Enjoy!
